James Estate Chardonnay
Tasting Note:
A full bodied Chardonnay, pale gold in colour with a lifted tropical fruit nose. The oak is well integrated and gives added complexity and length to the palate. The finish is crisp and mellow. A perfect accompaniment to most seafood and white meat dishes, this Chardonnay may be carefully cellared in order to reap the benefits of time.
Production Methods:
Hand harvested from mid to late February, this wine underwent temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel before selected parcels completed barrel fermentation. Three months lees contact was followed by nine months maturation in a mixture of new and one year old French and American oak. |
