2007 Junket & Jazz @ James Estate
Junket & Jazz @ James Estate was held again on the 2nd of June this year. With about 80 people in attendance it was a fun day filled with great food, excellent wines and most importantly free-form sport in the shape of dancing. The Alan Ward Jazz Band once again entertained the masses who responded wholeheartedly without reservation and at times without dignity. Be sure to keep an eye on this site for details of next year’s Junket & Jazz @ James Estate.

Degustation Dinner @ James Estate Pokolbin
On Friday 24 August at our very own Salsa Restaurant (James Estate Pokolbin), we will be holding a 7 course degustation dinner prepared by our Head Chef, Michael. Accompanied by James Estate wines and a few surprises, the evening is shaping up to be an occasion not to be missed. Senior Winemaker Peter Orr will host the evening and ensure that a bit
of fun and frivolity is on the scene.
Just to tempt that tastebuds, here’s a small selection from the evening’s menu:
- Seared Szechwan Duck Breast with Apple and Pear Chutney and Muscatel Jus
- Seared Wagyu with Beetroot Tapenade, Horseradish Cream and Madeira Jus
- Chocolate Biscuit Pudding with Pistachio Ice Cream
I can’t tell you the rest because that would just spoil things…….
For further information call James Estate Pokolbin on 02 4998 7992.
Out in the public…..
James Estate Wines will be participating at the Shoal Bay Jazz, Wine & Food Festival on the weekend of 31 August/1 September. If you are in the Port Stephen’s area that weekend, be sure to drop in and say hello, taste some wines and listen to some music. What else would you want to do anyway???
We’ll also keep you up to date on where you can catch our wines at other public tastings through this web page.
